What happened to Christ after he rose from the dead?

After Jesus rose from the dead, he appeared to his disciples and followers for a period of forty days. During this time, Jesus taught them about the Kingdom of God and the importance of following his teachings. He also gave them instructions to go and spread the gospel and to baptize all people in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

After the forty days, Jesus ascended into heaven in the presence of his disciples. This event is known as the Ascension. Jesus told his disciples to wait in Jerusalem for the coming of the Holy Spirit. On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples and they were filled with power from on high. This event is known as the Pentecostal Outpouring.

After the Pentecostal Outpouring, the disciples were sent out to preach the gospel to all nations. They were empowered by the Holy Spirit to do signs and wonders in the name of Jesus. The gospel was spread throughout the known world and many people were saved.

Today, Jesus is still alive in heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. He is the mediator between God and man and is the only way to salvation. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and will one day return to judge the living and the dead.
