These words come from Psalm 139 in the Bible. This psalm is a song of praise and thanksgiving to God for His omniscience and omnipotence. It is a hymn of adoration and worship to the Lord for His perfect knowledge of all things and His power over all creation. The psalmist acknowledges the Lord's greatness and extols His works. In verse 14, the psalmist exclaims, "Wonderful are thy works, O Lord!" This is a declaration of awe and admiration for the Lord and His works. The psalmist is in awe of the Lord's power and wisdom, and is moved to praise and thank Him for all that He has done.
