When and in what country was the first philosophy born?

The first philosophy is generally considered to have originated in ancient Greece during the 6th century BCE. This period was known as the Pre-Socratic period, and it is characterized by the emergence of thinkers who attempted to explain the world without relying on mythology or religion. The first of these philosophers was Thales of Miletus, who is credited with being the first to propose that the world is composed of a single substance, known as the "arche" or "principle". He is also credited with being the first to propose a scientific explanation for natural phenomena, such as the fact that water can be found everywhere in nature and is the source of all life. Thales' theories were followed by those of other Pre-Socratic philosophers such as Anaximander, who proposed that the world was composed of an infinite number of elements, and Anaximenes, who argued that air was the primary element of the universe. These early philosophers laid the foundation for the development of Western philosophy.
